I don't plan to for a while at least. I sell watch and iPhone accessories and I ordered a few preliminary samples from my contacts in Shenzhen. What I found is that most of the factories don't know how curved the geometry is on the Watch display, and thus either don't fit, or they only cover the flat part of the display.

If you choose to get a screen protector that does have edge to edge protection, be sure to get one that is wet-apply, as you can be sure that the dry ones on the market will peel up like nobody's business (most of the reviews of the products currently on Amazon do reflect this fact).

For this reason, I chose not to sell them as I knew immediately that the product reviews would be garbage.

If you have the sapphire model then you probably won't get a lot more protection from a plastic or glass cover anyway as sapphire is much more scratch resistant. The screen protectors that are currently available are all pretty cheap and not something I would stick on my watches screen. If you are truly dedicated to keeping your watch in mint condition then there are some pretty decent cases knocking around, some of which have a built in screen guard.

I haven't gotten my Watch Sport yet but I am considering using one when I get it. I work in a print shop and quite simply, I bump stuff. A simple screen protector is inexpensive (I've seen several available for a few dollars), inconspicuous (the best ones seem to blend in very nicely), and would provide enough peace of mind that I'd be willing to wear my watch at work.

I feel the edges of the screen protector would pick up too much lint and dust to where I would get annoyed with it.

I don't use protectors on my phone. My colleague has one on and you can see all the crap building up along the edges it's disgusting. He even has a low-profile glass protector.

This is true and probably the only thing that annoys my friend lol

I initially wasn't going to, but after I saw the near-invisible installs of the Armorsuit screen protector I went ahead and ordered one.

It came yesterday and I got it installed. I can't tell that it's there. I think this is well worth avoiding scratches on the screen.

I always had problems with screen protectors using wet installs. Never could get them on right.

Iv tried a few different types in different price ranges from Amazon and they fitted and looked fine. Unfortunately though they felt pretty cheap and took away the exotic, high quality feel of the screen. If you have a sapphire screen then don't bother as you really don't need one anyway but if you have the sport then a cover will definitely help if you don't mind the cheap feel.

I'm using a zagg & it covers the entire watch face & corners
You can get them at best buy & have them install it

Or you can buy armorsuit on Amazon for a few dollars and do it yourself , is the same as zagg

didn't give me the option I wanted so I chose the first. I didn't get a screen protector until I scratched my sport the first time. Thought it was dumb to get one now I guess it isn't (for the sport)

I think a screen protector, or something is more a necessity for the Sport. If you're fine with small dings and scratches, then I guess no need to worry ;)

even with the protector I have gotten a few dings on the body (I know that it doesn't protect the body just saying). The sport is really easy to scar. I plan on getting a nicer one for the 2nd or 3rd edition as I have found that the watch has easily become part of my day.

Why the hell would I use a screen protector? So I can inconvenience myself by having to deal with the uneven, raised bit of the screen protector every time I want to swipe from the edge? For what, so some loser who wants to buy my old watch in a year won't haggle down the price 10 bucks? No thanks. I'll gladly pay the $10 premium to not look like a tryhard loser who has nothing in their life so they guard their inanimate objects like royalty.

It's like putting plastic on a couch... It is a big fat NO! Just NO!

I voted "No, it's just a watch" but I have the SS, so...no need to put a protector on sapphire. I've owned sapphire watches before so I trust the material. I definitely don't think "it's just a watch, whatevs."
