My first was the iPhone 3, and I've never used screen protectors, but I've always used a case. Not one shattered/broken screen in 16 years. (I'll be sure to update this post in 2-3 days when I accidentally shatter my screen, because I'm not superstitious at all.)

I’ve had mega scratches on iPhone 12-14-15 pros. However the air is spotless so far. iPad Pro 2018 has large scratches too.
Screen protector kills the anti glare so I avoid using one. It’s ok nothing is invincible, I have a tiny scratch on sapphire screen too

Can anyone recommend a specific brand of protector for the Air?

I have tried a couple from Amazon - but even my usual go-to from ESR is a problem because it's just minutely too big and one side starts to bubble. Perhaps it would fit with micro millimetre accuracy which even the included installation frame does not give you...

But, I think these early versions are just a tiny bit too big to fit the screen correctly.

I've always used screen protectors but took the one off my 16 Pro Max for the last 3 months before the 17 Pro Max. I currently have one on my 17 PM but am thinking of taking it off. I just hate the way I feel the edge of the protector when swiping up to unlock the phone.

Does anyone know it the screens are the same on the Pro's as the Air's?

Also, how does AppleCare work in regards to screens? How bad does it have to get before they'll replace the screen?

Just looked it up and for me, here in the UK, and having AppleCare the cost of screen replacement is only £25 ($33) so think I will be going screen protector less.
