The 720p trailers run great, very smooth with no hiccups. 1080p trailers are a bit jumpy, but you shouldn't be playing those anyway because they have to be downconverted to show on the MBA's display in the first place.

can you explain any more on this? do any of apples notebooks play 1080p? is the difference in quality noticable.

It works great i have not downloaded ur movie but HD from itunes works very very very welllll:p i love the Air on account of my old G3 clamshell could not even play a DVD at that time:rolleyes:
