All you AT&T haters do realize once you switch to Verizon when the iPhone eventually goes there you'll just bitch about their service too? Sure maybe not the 3g coverage, maybe the customer service, the $300 price tag for early termination of a smart phone etc...

Results may vary, but if the network coverage is better and there is the likelihood of fewer dropped calls . . . perhaps the "customer service" experience might not be as hostile as it is with a certain carrier . . . as for the ETF . . . again, won't that affect a smaller percentage of users if the service is better. Further, do you honestly expect that other carriers are going to hold down their ETF fees forever. I suppose AT&T could become the "Southwest Airlines, Bags Fly Free" of the telecom industry, but the odds are against it.

Really AT&T, take the money you spent saved on Luke Wilson and put it towards your network.
