So lets say, hypothetically, the reports are correct- the iPhone HD will be launched in late June/early-mid July on AT&T this summer, and then on Verizon later in the year.

Will you get the AT&T phone because you don't want to wait for Verizon to get it later in the year? Or do you just like AT&T's service?

Or, if you're a current AT&T customer, will you drop them because you hate their service and be willing to wait a few extra months for a Verizon iPhone release?

Which of the above poll options do you go with and why?

This should be interesting. Waiting for the poll...

I have a feeling those preferring AT&T will be a lot more numerous than this forum would lead one to believe.

I'm already a Verizon customer and happy with their service. I will wait for a Verizon iPhone if they are announced this summer even if they don't come out until the fall. If not, I'm switching to AT&T when they upgrade their phones.

For once, a kinda unique poll!

Yeah, that's right, I'm the first person who'd stay w/ AT&T!
I'm just looking forward to all the people b**ching about AT&T to jump ship and go to Verizon. Either way, hopefully the extra competition between the two will result in lower smartphone plan prices for everyone :)

In my area, there aren't any noticeable differences in services between AT&T Verizon. I just started my Verizon contract after getting rid of AT&T and my 3GS, but I will go back to AT&T when the new one comes out. I have a BB Tour (I wanted to try something new), and I'll sell it to help cancel my Verizon plan.

I don't think I can wait until the Fall/Winter for the Verizon iPhone lol.

I'll stick with AT&T. I've never really had any trouble with them since I moved to them from Verizon about 8 years ago. Verizon customer service was horrible back then for me, and I just got fed up with it. I gave them another shot when the Droid came out, as I picked up one of them to try out. CS was still horrible compared to AT&T.

I'm stuck with Verizon because that's what we have at work, in large part because the entire building is wired as a Verizon cell site.

I agree. I hear alot of people bash ATT. But there are alot of people who are extremely happy with ATT.

And I bet the poll will blow it away with happy ATT customers.

I voted staying with AT&T. I've had Verizon for years, and switched to get the 3G. ALways had reception problems with Verizon. My AT&T signal is perfect, never have dropped calls, speeds are always fast, always have 5 bars of 3G wherever I am. Just no complaints from me, so I will be sticking with AT&T for the long run.

BTW live in Northern Los Angeles area.

I was with Verizon for 7 years, and have now been with AT&T for nearly two. I work and travel, especially to rural areas all over the NorthEast and especially Mid-Atlantic. I prefer AT&T and plan on staying with them.

My iPhone is on our company plan so I will do what they are paying for :) To be honest I have had no problems with my phone or connections including 2 trips a year to Japan and mainland China.

Columbus Ohio, I'll take sprint.;) My service is very good, and it works fairly well when i travel.

Now that the prices of at&t and verizon are CLOSER to sprint, I will try either one when my contract is over in September, unless 4g hits columbus and the apps get better on that new droid hd phone.

You left out, "If the reports are true, I won't be buying the iPhone Huge Disappointment, so neither cell phone company for me."

wait, what exactly is disappointing you? The rumors of verizon, multitasking, the front facing camera, the HD screen, what?

I'm with AT&T & I'm sticking with the best. Verizon can take their ****** network and suck it

My contract doesn't end with AT&T until next February. However, I can upgrade to the next iphone at the end of July. I like have simultaneous voice and data capability, so I may stick with AT&T until LTE rolls out both networks.

Here is a different perspective: I am staying with GSM/EDGE/3G vs. CDMA (hence AT&T by default in the US) due to amount of international travel.

I believe I included the word "hypothetically" in the first post. It's ok if that's a big word for you to understand, but there are online dictionaries you can use, instead of giving people an attitude just because you can't comprehend something. :)
