My connection is okay. What part of the east coast are you?
Edit: Strike that, there's something flakey going on with EDGE. I have none, only 3G.

I'm in DC 3g and Edge work great here
I'm from North Central Indiana, and service here has been shaky when I've been out and when I went to work earlier. However, when I'm at home, I have perfect 3G signal.
Like I said. Im in Long Branch (City). I was at an event and everyone was loosing service. False alarm. Sorry guys

I'm guessing New Jersey, but most people have no idea. And there is a Long Branch in Toronto, FYI.
I was driving through Queens today. Had all bars, but couldn't make a call. Nothing happened at all when you hit the call button.

a friend of mines says that he can't get a 3G signal in the Angels Stadium of Anaheim in Los Angeles, CA, saying he keeps getting a "more bars in more place" in his iphone.
but he tells me must be all the crazy fans with phones, and the cell towers cannot receive all data traffic.

this will never happen in Los Angeles, CA
dont be so sure. I believe two weeks 3G went down completely in northern california, then found its way down towards the LA area and Riverside and Inland Empire.

oh and I didnt say I kept getting more bars in more places, but rather this was the slogan of ATT on billboards, which I find really ironic and funny. Signal was good, just 3G internet was non existent, so had to switch over to 2G
