iPhone Auki = no more BiteSMS?

I'm contemplating giving it a try. Just for the sake of supporting jailbreak community.
But I find it very difficult to dethrone BiteSMS, been using it for years... Tons of features. Although Auki is well designed and coded, just hard to give it up for BiteSMS.

I only use BiteSMS for the QR, so I tried Auki. Obviously it's so new, but love it so far. Great integration, I love the way it works.
Really like Auki so far. Wouldn't mind seeing some options, don't care for the contact pictures...

Ah ok that works. Really like the simplicity of this. Only wish landscape would have an option.. Thanks for the replies & help guys!
No way I'm switching from bite to this.
Bite has way more features and must have customization options.

Hey your pretty smart with JB stuff. Whenever I have messages with biteSMS and it says like 2 in the status bar, it always opens the notification center. Do you know why?
Im just tapping the 2 on the status bar. It used to open up QR but not anymore
Been using Auki ever since I watched it get presented. #jailbreakcon.

I did not think I would give up Bite but I just did. Auki works great with the native messages app and it is definitely smooth. I don't know why Apple doesn't integrate something like this. I think it is awesome having the choices that we have in the jailbreaking community

BiteSMS just have so much to offer, I'll probably give it a try since haven't heard anyone say anything bad about it other than the price..
You are right on Bite. It has a ton of features that I just don't use which made it an easy decision for me.
With me if Im on the lockscreen it opens up the QR window.
Not sure if unlocked if it behaves different, maybe a setting that needs to be changed? Go to settings/quick reply/lock and unlock mode settings.

Why not have a simple quick reply feature at least on stock ios. Bitesms has been successful and people have been using it for years and that's because one doesn't want to have to close apps or get into messages or even unlock the phone just to respond to a text.
People like to try new things and I don't blame them.
For me Bite has served me great for many years and their team is on the top of their game. Always testing and fixing bugs, releasing new beta versions, adding features and working with users to troubleshoot issues that might come up with other installed packages etc....
Not sure if this dev will stick around to update it in the near future or provide this type of support and bug fixes like the bite team.

Honestly, its for those that strictly want a QR and QC tweak.
Similar to Couria, it's just the fact Surinex is apart of this tweak which adds another level of exposure. BiteSMS can seem too much for some users.
I love how it works with the native messages app. Bite is OUTSTANDING and I have been using it since it came out for iOS 7 but I do not use half the features it offers. All I need really is what Auki does. I love to support the devs and try new things anyway
Dont know. I have no notification center when phone is locked. Yet if I click the bitesms number on lock or unlock screen it brings down notification center and it's blank. Really frustrating.
It's Ok if you are looking for a good QR/QC tweak without all the bulk of BiteSMS. I wish I could disable the profile pics in the conversation view though. I'm not a fan of those as they seem to make the text box 'thinner'
