No way this would replace does this even have basic privacy no u can swipe on lockscreen

Dont know. I have no notification center when phone is locked. Yet if I click the bitesms number on lock or unlock screen it brings down notification center and it's blank. Really frustrating.

Works fine with me. On lock screen it opens up qr to respond. Doesn't bring up NC at all. Gotta be something you need to change either in the bite settings or messages or notification settings.

I'm currently trying it but dont know if I'll be keeping it over bitesms. the one thing I like about bitesms is the ability to pull down to see the whole conversation. sometimes my friends will send me 2 and 3 messages back to back and its nice to pull down and look at them all before replying.

That was the one thing I noticed in the quick reply part. If you get another message while you are replaying to the first, you can't see it. Or at least maybe I was just doing something wrong lol.

Your not doing anything wrong I noticed it too

Bensge tweeted me back that it will update and show the next text in quick reply, you just need to tap the new message in the notification bar when it comes in. I haven't had an opportunity yet to try it, but I believe it until I see otherwise.

Huh I've tried that but does not work on the lock screen for me. Doesn't the reply window cover up the notification bar when a new messages arrives? I myself am still enjoying using this it has a refreshing feel to it. I did go back to bite last night for a couple hours but am back with auki again lol...

I just tried that and it just send you to the message app after you tap that second message(if it's from the same person)

Bitesms 8.2 with themes support is public now. Sorry Auki I tried you but you're too basic.

Auki 1.1 was updated in Cydia this morning. I'm using Auki as of the moment but having a hard time giving up bite. Mostly just the status bar notification...

Any new features like "Dim when done" or recipient shortcuts? Those two are the two reasons that keep me with biteSMS...

Nope nothing essential like that but we now have the option to toggle the the contact pics on or off and isx compatible...

With this mornings update 4/20 they added the support for alert style pop-up notifications, removed conflict with smart close, fixed potential bug leading to high cpu usage, minor eclipse crash and some foreign language stuff...
