Is it for free still or do I have to pay? Please, don't get me wrong, I don't mind paying, but I'd rather not do it if I can get it for free in exchange for my comments and feedback to the developers. Please let me know.

I'm willing to try this once I receive my Series 2. I hope the battery will last enough as for using this app daily.

It still eludes me why is this not readily available on all app stores? I would gladly pay for this app, but my emails to developers regarding the availability on Croatian app store remained unanswered.

Used it for the first time last night. Seemed to work really well! Just went to bed, didn't have to launch the app or anything. Woke up for an hour, made breakfast and coffee for my fiancé, went back to bed. And it tracked all of it correctly. Very impressed. Also, minimal battery life hit. Went to bed with the battery around 70%, woke up at 58%. Other sleep apps I used a year ago on the AW series 0 would use 50% of the battery overnight, and you'd have to manually tell it you were going to sleep and waking up. This app seems a lot better!

Hi everyone!

I help develop a new automated sleep monitoring app called "Sleep Watch". We just released it and it's a work in progress. It's different because it automatically tracks your sleep without requiring manual user input of when you go to bed or when you wake up. I was pretty disappointed to find that the sleep tracking apps I have used do not have this kind of automated tracking; so, we think the app solves a real problem. We are still enhancing the accuracy of the sleep detection algorithms and we encourage users to give us feedback on our sleep detection accuracy to help make the algorithm better. It doesn't have visual graphs of your night activity yet; so if you require that then the app is probably not ready for your needs. We've made it available for $4.99 on the App Store and we would love to get your feedback!

Love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks everyone!

Does this app also provide indications of times that you are restless and moving around? I would love to try this out, but am unsure of what additional metrics beyond what time I fell asleep and what time I woke up.
Thanks!

Anyone else have experience with this app? I am wondering how it compares to Fitbit's sleep tracking capabilities. Just switched to an apple watch from a charge 2 and I am still getting used to it and the features.

What metrics do you get? Does it show you when you are restless? If you wouldn't mind posting a picture of what your phone shows?

So, you get that little bar graph that gives you some indication of your restlessness. When you click on the total sleep time, that brings up the 2nd screen, where you can confirm/edit your sleep times. This is usually right on the money. last night I got up at 4 to use the bathroom and then woke up for good at 7:05 AM. It's really good at knowing when you're actually asleep versus just laying awake in your bed. I put my watch on DND and airplane mode overnight, along with turning off raise to wake, and i only get a 10-15% battery hit for a full night sleep. it's a pretty good app, and seems to be actively developed and getting better.

Thanks for the post! Looks like a good app and good to know that it is accurate. Good call on DND and airplane mode. Hadn't even thought of turning off raise to wake. The only way to do that is in the actual Watch app, right? What band do you use overnight? I'm thinking sport, but I don't know if that will get warm.

I will be buying this app soon!

Yeah i use a knockoff sport band. You can turn off all those things on the watch itself or on the watch app on the iPhone.

Can't understand why apps are restricted by region unless you have a very popular server based app.

Tried to buy this app and felt the frustration: Not avialible in Argentina.

This app is amazing. The only thing that I wish it had was what sleep cycle has, e.g., a graph showing how deep in sleep you were compared to how close you came to being awake. I would also like a % showing how well your sleep was.

The last couple nights, I have gone to bed around 930pm then usually wake up to go to the bathroom around 2am, then get up at 415 to go to the gym. The only records my sleep from 930 to 2 doesnt catch when I lay back down. This is the only complaint I have had about this app. It works pretty damn good, but just noticed this

Actually, everyone, I just got confirmation from a user that if you redeem one of the promo codes, it doesn't matter if its not available in your region. That user shared with me that he just used the promo code (despite it not being available in his region) and the app downloaded. So, I thought I would pass that on here for anyone that it may be of help
Do you have any more promo codes?

Well I bit the bullet and bought it. So far so good.

One suggestion for the developer: allow us a way to click on the 'timeline' for a given night to zoom in and see the changes in more detail, with hour markers along the way.

My first night didn't go so well. I went to bed a little after 1 and woke up at 7. The app had me going to sleep at 3:25 (bathroom run at that time) and getting up at 5:45 (another bathroom run). I adjusted the times and I an hoping for a better 2nd night.

Update - night 2 was spot on for start and stop.
