DVD Player.app will also play VIDEO_TS folders

Yeah, I found that out yesterday playing around. I had to open dvdplayer and then select "open file" and it worked like a charm.

I've got Flip4Mac pro, all the codecs Apple features; nothing worked.
VLC works, but you can't edit; exports fail or crash VLC.

Forget VLC.

VLC does do everything, but it does FLV poorly (you must watch without fastforwarding.



AVI is nothing more than a container for the video. More often than not, videos that pixelate while watching are WMV. Try changing the extension then run through flip4mac. Make sure you have adequate memory and speed for these videos, and WMVs are memory hogs.
