I just upgraded to version 0.13 and I advise others don't. Now the tweak force my device into safe mode. Ugh... I was planning to get v0.10 update but only v0.13 available. Anyone know if I can get back the original v0.9 from bigboss that works?

Now I have no backgrounder :(

----------

Can someone explain what the "Enable at Launch" options does exactly?

I think it mean, when u have that on, when u apply whatever setting, it will apply on that app when it 1st launches until u force closed.

He removed the best option...To have the app relaunch any app that iOS just "decides" to close....

So the only benefit to having this app now, is if you can afford to let an app run wild...

I was hoping he would fix the camera app such that it would also relaunch when closed by iOS, thus keeping the camera in memory without letting it kill the battery and the RAM...

This app wasnt ready for prime time, at all....Why would we need to relaunch an app that cant be closed by iOS (forced mode is now the only way to relaunch)?

I manage to find the original version from bigboss after some googling, now i have the old version stored in email and can be installed thru ifile so I can upgrade and downgrade as much as I want if the newer versions has problem and bugs. :)

Edit: the newer version is less confusing with lesser options, but I stick with what works best for now, which is the original version.

Sounds like it could be difficult, butI suggest you ask the author if its possible, could be an option in a future release.

After rethinking, I think it's better if we manually turn off the sound before quitting the app.

Explanations needed:
If I set cydia for example at being in "Forced" mode, I don't understand what these 2 options mean and when they should be activated:
Fallback to native
Force native mode

Same here. If I stop scrolling in Whatsapp or Safari without taking my finger off the screen, I can't scroll anymore unless I remove my finger and reapply it onto the screen. My keyboard is kinda messed up too.... can't explain how, but it's not responding well. This tweak has lots of promise and potential, but still has bugs to figure out.
Yeah.. I've noticed this issue too

Man, the tweak is cheap.. but has many issues

Developer answered me by twitter: he says that these 2 options will be used once tweak will be integrated with activator.

You described most tweaks. Still, at least this ones under HEAVY development, most get a release and left to rot :(. So there are going to be bugs.
I reiterate, if you find something report it to him guys.

I've got this working well for keeping Dropbox open for automatic photo uploads, but I must admit to not being entirely sure what half of the options actually do.

I do have a banking app that the developer has set to not multitask at all, presumably so that I have to enter my passcode each time it launches. The 'Force Native Mode' seems to do what it says though, forcing the app to actually multitask even though the dev doesn't want it to.

The problem there is that I figured that out via trial and error. There's nothing to actually explain what the option does anywhere.

Still doesn't work...

I tried what the one guy said about uninstalling Auxo and Background Manager, then reinstalling Background Manager, and then reinstalling Auxo... Well, I tried all that, didn't help at all... Still doesn't work!!! I'm using iPhone 5 jailbroken on version 6.1.2

Should I try to debug this by disabling most of my jailbreak apps (I have a lot) via Mobile Substrate Addons settings in SBSettings???

Also, another thing that is weird that happens is when I short hold the home button (default Activator setting for Background Manager) it doesn't change anything really, just a little thing comes up saying "Cancelled" .... WTF ??

Also, I don't have "Background" as an option listed for the Background Mode, I have "Forced" listed there instead... what's the dealeo with that???

Some help would be much appreciated, I really miss being able to truly background my apps.... Oh and I'm using the newest version of Background Manager, version 0.9-16

Here is the list

I tried disabling most of them via Mobile Substrate Addons settings in SBSettings, didn't make any difference....

I'd really like to know why it says "Cancelled" when I try the activator trigger for Background Manager....

Answering a question at https://forums.macrumors.com/posts/17430443/ , I've thoroughly tested the latest version's, 0.9-16, wired TV / wireless AirPlay slide / video output capabilities when run in the background using the following three apps:

- KeyNote
- nPlayer
- GoodPlayer

All three worked just fine in Forced mode - but, of course, not in the default Native one. In the latter case, both wired TV and wireless AirPlay playback is immediately paused / terminated, as is the case without installing any BG tool. In Forced mode, their playback continues just fine when backgrounded.

Any alternative to Background Manager???

I need one now...Videopane + Slingplayer (iPhone 6+) = USELESS!!!
