Pretty sure any iPhones scheduled for delivery (at least here in USA) on launch day (tomorrow 9/22) left China days ago.
I believe this to be accurate. The story I've always heard is that Apple uses UPS and FedEx type services as staging areas for the weeks prior to launch and they get those pallets of iPhones and other new devices situated in your country and ready to start hitting porches in all the days leading up to launch. The devices show as "shipped" once a certain scan happens, but the box may have been sitting in that depot for a couple days prior to that already.

I received my FedEX test this morning saying arriving tomorrow requiring signature. Left Tenn last night. Nothing new here.

Yep, I think I got charged for my AppleCare+ and first monthly payment last night and it's been marked "shipped" as of this morning.
