I have had multiple live chats recently with apple about Christmas presents and questions about keeping my presents safe and I do admit I may have repeated my self a few times. So yesterday I go to start a live chat and as soon as I am put through to a specialist and ask my question the chat disconnects and when I start another live chat it says "We are happy to assist you by phone, live chat not available." so I am guessing I have been banned from apples live chat.

No in my opinion I wasn't trolling them I was just asking simple questions and I was never rude to them, if the believe I was trolling would they then sue me?

A corporate organisation will not sue people for minor stuff like that. It’s way more expensive for them to even create the paperwork via their official channels.

Ok, thanks, guess I should stop being so annoying, I was only saying things like are my presents safe in recycled wrapping paper and near a fire place but I suppose I did ask quite a few times, hopefully I will be unbanned in the near future

I won’t say they’d do that for you being annoying but if you’ve violated any of their policies then they can certainly do it.

Developers get banned all the time if they try to get dodgy app on to AppStore.

Why would Apple be involved in you keeping your Christmas presents safe. This seems odd to begin with. Maybe chat system was just down and it’s a big leap to thinking you were banned. If for some strange reason you were banned I don’t think they would bother sending you anything.

I needed advice and they were an easy way of getting it, I doubt they were down because I got connected at first then they disconnected me and then it keeps saying that every time I go to start a live chat

Why are even asking Apple these questions about the safety of your wrapped presents, ask the fire department or an insurance agent maybe or anyone else. If you are wasting a paid employee’s time asking questions like this when they could be helping others I can see why they would block you from the chat system.

You bought Apple products but how can they help you with keeping your items safe?! I just don’t see how it involves Apple. They may have thought you’re wasting time, that’s why they banned you.

Yeah and I asked them multiple times in multiple chats, so I understand why they banned me.

Yeah and I asked them multiple times in multiple chats, so I understand why they banned me, I just don't want them suing me or sending mail to my house telling me I have been banned as I don't want my wife seeing

I’m sure neither will happen.

Did you ask what color bow to put on the presents to while you were at it. Don’t waste product/technical supports time from any company not just Apple. That not what they are for.
I agree with this, it wont happen again

You should ask all of your annoying and ridiculous questions here on MR, that's what we are here for
You will probably still get banned, but at least you will still be able to buy Apple products
hope apple haven't banned me from buying on the apple store

I highly doubt you’ve been banned from anything. Chat may not be available because it’s down or busy. So they’re asking people to call instead.

And ask whatever questions you want. Apple charges a massive premium for its products. You’re entitled to decent service.

I can’t imagine them ever banning someone from buying their products.

The only thing you’ve done wrong is being paranoid!

Excuse me! Nobody is entitled to hassle the customer service representatives with questions that is nowhere relevant to the products and services they sell.

Apple charges whatever they feel like charging and for that they provide second to none customer service FOR THEIR DEVICES.

Although I do believe that the systems might just have been down at that point.

Phoned apple and they told me I was blocked from live chat for 24 hours, the women I spoke to said she don't know why I was blocked because I wasn't inappropriate at all during the live chats and she apologised.
