Wait a minute, if this is actually an emac (sure about that, not an imac??) then it's non-intel based. What was the last OS that supported non-intel HW - leopard?
I don't see how Lion would have possibly been installed here. Please check the actual mac model and OS that is trying to be installed.
If this is an emac, it should have been pretty darn well free or close to it cause the last those were made was like 6 or 7 years ago.
