Base 2009 Mac Pro for $400 or Keep Upgraded 2006 Model?

Depends on what you want. I tried with another member when I first started the thread, but by the time I got to the surplus sale, the item was sold. Towers tend to stick around longer than laptops, and now we're on a five year rotation as opposed to three (budget cuts), so the gear is a little older. But if there's anything you see on the site that you'd like, I can try I suppose.
Maybe I'll post photos of my Mac Pros so everyone can see the general condition the computers are in. Laptops tend to be used by faculty and staff, Mac Pros too. The iMacs are generally lab machines. A bunch of 2009 Mac Minis are going to end up there eventually and their price is $40 or so. Those I know have very little use as they were backup machines for a gallery space.
