thanks chaos, i removed it and rebooted and reinstalled....we will see how it goes over the next day or so.

when i reinstalled, it was 39%, that was a hour ago in standby and its still showing 39%

just restarted the phone and its showing 42% haha

edit, just jumped from 42% to 36% in like 3 seconds hehee.

Well been playing around on the web and writing messages and my battery is still at 100%. Something must be off.

HighLife420 just remove it

ya, i think im going to have to .... wish there was a accurate battery %...i know its tough considering the iphone counts the battery in 5 parts? so i know its not really accurate till it hits 80, or 60 etc etc.

Funny, after about 2 hours of use, 10-12 text messages, it just dropped from 100% to 98%.

Could it be something else messing with the program itself? i was thinking maybe my notifier in my status bar. Any using that with battery control and have no issues?

I emailed the developer last night and got a reply a little while later saying he had noticed the same thing on his phone and was going to look into it.

Until he gets if fixed, I'm going to continue using Battery Control to get rid of the icon and SBSettings to display the percentage as they seem to work fime together.

problems with the battery control

I have a jailbroken iphone 3.0 3G

I have both the icon and the percentage showing and I want to get rid of the icon.

When I install the battery control:

1. I do not see it in either settings or in supreme preferences (3.0)

2. The percentage is gone (showing only the icon).

Can anyone help? How can I make it show on the preferences list?

Its in settings, scroll to the bottem and you will see the Battery Control, click it and you can set what you like...sometimes it requires that you close the program for the icon to disappear. Hope this helps ya.

it is nowhere to be found... I see the list of other things... its not there... believe me... I looked and respringed... and restarted... its just not there...

Anyone notice accuracy issues? My battery stayed at 100% while listening to 3 hours of podcasts this morning. I knew that wasn't right so I turned on the battery percentage in SBSettings and it said 88%, which seemed accurate. Right now, SBSettings says 93% and Battery Control says 100%, which I know isn't accurate.

I hate the battery icon but the good news is that Battery Control and SBSettings seem to work together and the percentage from SBS overrides the one from BC, so I've been using BC with icon off and percentage on, and percentage on in SBSettings all day.

after i did a restore for other reasons, i reinstall this app and now i have this same problem^^^^ :(

new update guys
now cost money

you can still remove the battery icon for free...

if you want to remove the % symbol and have it change colors when charging or when you running low then you can pay the .99$

Im not a fan of the space it takes up now, used to be right up on the right edge of the status bar, now it seems its 1 space over.
