Yes I should have gotten the one with the dongle, I was lured in by the "For Mac" marketing!
Yes, I am using a 2S with the Unifing Receiver on an M1 iMac with zero issues. Ordered a MX Master 3 regular version as an upgrade. The Unifing Receiver is better than BT.
NOTE: I have also set the 2S on BT and it seems to work OK but I think the UR is better.

If you don't need a deep customization, try application called Mac Mouse Fix. It has basic settings and works flawlessly.

Thanks for the tip Sysmet! Can this be used alongside Logi Options? I hate options since it's a resource hog and not Universal yet but it's needed for firmware updates...

I came to Mac Mouse Fix for the same reason. I'm not even installing Logi Options, just this little app. But as I said, it has only basic options.

Ah, so you just install sometimes Logi to apply firmware updates and uninstall it each time? Or you don't apply firmware fixes/improvements at all? Also it seems horizontal scrolling isn't customizable from Mac Mouse Fix but only vertical scrolling?

No I never did it, but maybe I should haha. I'll make it when they officially adapt their software to Apple Silicone.

Yes only vertical scroll customization is available, horizontal is working fine though. I'm not a power-user of MX 3 features, basic options is all I need.

Found this post in Reddit and after following the advice, the stutter IS GONE!

"try disabling "Allow Handoff between the Mac and your iCloud devices" setting under System Preferences > General"

Too bad you have to disable handoff, it is just a workaround but at least an alternative.

Unbelievable, I'd fire the person responsible asap if I were Logitech, when you have their resources and when they want to increase sales to mac community at the same time, I think the fact they haven't still released and universal build after all this time is insane...

I received my Master Keys and Mx master 3 setup last week. I have the non Mac speciic version and both are working great using the unifying usb receiver. I didn’t even both with Bluetooth. 16/1TB Mac Mini M1.

I'm on iMac 5k 2020 (Monterey 12.0.1) with unifying dongle and MX Master 3 for Mac + MX keys keyboard. A total disaster: on the keyboard the function keys for increasing/decreasing luminosity and volume won't work at all unless I rapidly switch between 1-2-3 connection keys (both keyboard and mouse are connected on key no.2). This trick allows me to just make two or three ticks up or down either brigthening or dimming the screen (or ticking up/down the volume) and then I've to repeat this stupid switch back and forth if I want to use the function keys again.

Same for the mouse: scroll key and back/forward page keys won't work at all on Chrome or Safari. I'm about to switch them off and go back to the Apple keyboard/trackpad combo......

Does anybody has the same problems and or solutions? Thanks vm

I just tried my mx master 3 with 16" m1 pro, and it lacks of precision... I don't know how to explain, it does not have lag but its somehow hard to click small buttons or things like this when I need precision.

I don't have this problem with 5$ wired mouse.

Its connected via BT. Logi options+ beta also installed.
Any tips?

Experiencing the lack of precision as well over BT with my Logitech M720.

I have always had this issue with my G602. I am on here trying to see if the Master 3 could replace my G602 since Logi software won't recognize it anymore with my new M1 Pro. The master 3 doesn't have as many buttons as I need though. Thanks for the info.
