Beats One: How much do you hate Zane Lowe?

I listened to Beats 1 for about 10 minutes and then went to one of the other stations. Just let me listen to the goddamn music and not you jabber over it for 30 seconds while plugging another host, thanks.
"for me it is the worst radio station i heard till now". That's a weird sentence...
Anyho, the station is playing a wide variety of music. If you don't like the rap/r&b, then put something else on (i don't know what normal music is to you...white people stuff?)
The whole station is basically a carbon copy of BBC Radio 1. They play pop hits, but go beyond that with more lesser known and obscure stuff. It's not aiming to be your niche station.
It's a radio station with hosts... there's literally a function with the Music app where you can listen to anything you want without DJ's talking at the end of songs.
Zane has a very unique feature about how he does radio, I think his like Marmite, you'll either love him or hate him!
You know I'm starting to agree with you on some of these points.
Today the music went from Disclosure to Foals with no break - that is a pretty sweeping genre change and not very professional if ask me.
Also, it was 8am in the morning. I don't want to listen to Foals at 8am in the morning. She was going on like "getting ready to head to the club now" etc etc - seemingly forgetting that she's broadcasting across many different time zones.
It's never going to please everyone. But they could at least try. Right now it feels like I'm listening to a random American radio station
So far, Zane Lowe and Joshua Homme (Alligator Hour) have sold me on Beats 1. Digging the variety of music these guys are spinning. Zane's enthusiasm is infectious and his music is upbeat.
For me, it seems Beats 1 is swimming on top of the musical pool, and when you hear a song you like, that provides you with the opportunity to dive deeply into Apple's music offerings.

I respect him more now I've seen him have a negative opinion about something.
Normal POP, Rock, Hardrock, Metal, JPOP, Jazz - just not this black music junk. Not because the black but the unmelodic sound and ****** lyrics.
You're never going to hear JPOP or Jazz on there really are you? Maybe very very rarely.
I've only listened for maybe 40 minutes and I've heard a good few of the others though. Not metal or hardrock maybe. Although I'm not sure I could differentiate rock and hardrock
Well next try: hiphop... Vince Staples - Senorita. Why do I 90% get some hiphop when I try tuning in?
They're playing Refused right now. And if you check out Zane's playlists, there are more white artists than black ones. I think this is an example of the one-roach-running-a-bowl-of-cherries phenomenon. If you weren't bigoted you could see the nuance.
You have unpopular music tastes that won't be played on a general music station. And you're a bit racist too it seems, so well done on that too.
