Holy crap settle down people. This is the first problem beejive has EVER had on the iPhone. Give it a rest already. Its obvious a server issue and they are working around the clock to fix it.

Try to remember these are people running servers, not autonomous robots. Mistakes will be made especially with something this huge.

Give it a day.

Around 12 PM on 6/23, via Twitter:

BeejiveIM: Submitting bug fixes to the App Store this week - sorry for the issues, all should be resolved soon!

Im very disappointed @ Beejive; constant disconnects, errors, crashes etc. The AIM app is whipping this things u know what all over the place -- and its free. Beejive, get your act together, for a $10 app, this is absolutely ridiculous.

I think people need to relax. Beejive has been awesome and they are working through some challenges as of recent. Give them time to work through them. At least they are being more responsive than mobilechat and other crap apps out there. :)

Patience shouldn't cost $10.

yep its something humans should have naturally, patience, now on the other hand servers and workers do cost $10 which brought us this wonderful app that usually works, and if not they will figure it out thanks to their patience and knowledge

I have had some problems with the app recently as well. As of today though, using only my AIM account, it has been flawless. They will get it straight very soon I am sure.

everyones been having some problem with this app recently..
starting around 3 days ago
everything will be back to normal soon enough
ive been online now for around 23 hours with no crashes
some people just need to calm down a little

People need to chill out a bit.

Yes, they've been having some problems, but some of the comments here are a joke...

"Reminds me of the MobileChat debacle"
etc etc

Beejive has been flawless since it came out. They've had a couple of days of issues since the release of the new version - bearing in mind this one is using API's that the team will never have worked with before..

Their previous performance, and the fact that they're working to fix everyone's issues should buy them a little latitude and patience. To compare them to the MobileChat cowboys is, quite frankly, an insult.

Yesterday it worked pretty well for me, although I did keep getting disconnected from GTalk pretty regularly. Today it seems the push notifications are not functioning at all. I get new messages when I open the application, nothing at all via push.

I won't give up on it right away, but at $10 it's a relatively expensive iPhone application and for a premium price it should offer premium service.

if you had owned it for the last 10 months or so, you'd know that it DOES give a premium service - this is pretty muchthe first occasion in all that time there have been problems of this nature

And for the record, it could just as easily be that the problem is at Apple's end, rather than Beejive's

Really....settle down. Beejive is a great, premium app. And besides all that, you pulled the trigger and bought the app, so no one to blame but yourself if you aren't happy with it.

And if AIM does seem a little better than Beejive at the moment, it makes sense considering how Apple performed their high-volume push tests with AIM before they officially launched 3.0.

i agree with the poster above. I think beejive response has been killer. They have kept people up to day on twitter and there forums. Does the app have a few issues yea, is beejive working to make it right yes. I agree beejive was not ready for this load. Look at the first adult app on the store the app got yanked at the developers request casue there servers were melting down. Beejive is going to make it right. I agree chill out sooner than latter it will be perfect and you got it at 9 bucks not 16.
