I wonder if they submit their updates and then announce it later or they get some kind of special treatment.

I always notice their updates come out basically as soon as it's announced where every other app I can think of always has at least a few days to week minimum from time update was announced till it appears in app store.

Beejive iphone 2.0 is out!

PLEASE forgive me if already posted but I did a "quick" check and didn't see a new post. Just check for download from App Store and if it doesn't show, delete, then add it back... enjoy!!

Woooooot! Thanks for the heads up.

I don't think they get special treatment, maybe their time from submission to approval is shorter because they create a kick-ass app.

Also, if it takes 5 days from submission to approval, maybe they wait 4 days before announcing it, so not to have people wait. They may not announce the updates as soon as it's submitted.

Updated and happy. They do have a polished app.

Developers get the "ready for sale" email up to 24 hours before it's visible in the App Store. They probably wait until they get that email, then announce it. From my experience it's usually 3-6 hours between when I get the email and when it shows up in the store.

I think I found a bug

I was using Beejive in landscape mode and I tried to take a picture and send it. The photo interface didn't come up in landscape mode but in portrait. I had no button to take the picture or any other button to go back to my chat.

I had to close Beejive pressing the home button and open it again. Then, in portrait mode, I could take my pic and send it without a problem.

This seems to be a bug. Can anyone try to replicate this?

I've already reported my case on the Beejive forum

Hey dude. I seen and responded to your commented on the Beejive forum. I can't replicate the problem here - works fine for me

Thanks pal.

I will try once again. Already tried twice with the same outcome. I haven't rebooted my phone since the update. The problem will probably go away once I do.

They posted on their forum that they submitted the update to Apple last week.

I haven't tried out the new update yet, but I'd like to know if this is possible too.

If you hold down your finger on a picture you're viewing, I noticed a little thing pops up that says "action." Seems like it might come in a future update to save pictures?

So I was able to send my friend a picture, while he was on the computer, but he couldn't send me one from the computer? Can it work like that? We were on Yahoo Messenger, by the way.

Oh ok thanks for the info I wasn't aware of either of those things.

So far I like the 2.0 update. Few issues but sure it'll be sorted out.
