This version is still junk. My AOL logs me out in approximately an hour. The AOL app works as it should. Waste of $10.

Really?? That's odd! I have never had a problem except for the beginning (when version 3.0 came out). Make sure you have the login time you want selected in the settings.

I might make the switch from Im+ to beejive. Is there facebook chat also?

I'm reasonably happy with IM+. I use AIM, Facebook and Twitter connections. I'd consider Beejive. Can someone try to sell it over IM+. I need a reason to make the switch. Why is Beejive better?

another new beejive lover here!!!

I did have problems with facebook logging me out on beejive when I logged into facebook but those problems seemed to have resolved themselves once I did the update!

Regardless though - I think this is a fantastic app!!! Well worth the $10 to me (although I will be pissed once the price drops - lol)!!!

I have them both, I originally got IM+ after the Beejive 3.0 update as I found it rather sluggish on my iPhone 3G, however now with the recent update it is back to performing well for me. I use it mainly for MSN and Google Talk, both of which perform flawlessly for me except for the occasional failed IM thanks to fAilT&T.

I just much prefer the UI of Beejive over IM+ and it just feels more intuitive to use so unless you need Skype support or Twitter push then I would recommend Beejive, it just seems to be a classier program.

There's this website that exists... I believe it's called something like beejive.com. They have a support email that transfers text that you type to the developers of the app who can resolve things. It also has support forums. That might be a logical step rather than whining about the best IM client in the app store being a waste.

I have both also, I kind of like the UI of IM+ a little more, I just like to swipe between chats easier then in beejive. I bought beejive 1st then IM+ on sale $5.

I do like the twitter push of IM+, I could be perfectly happy with IM+ BUT...it takes sooooo long to load the app. To me it feels like trying unlock your front door but you keep fumbling the keys in the dark.

Start up for IM+ with only my twitter account active was 30 sec
Start up for Beejive with 6 different accounts: 5 sec

Either one is not bad, IM+ more options but Beejive has better performance.

My vote is for Beejive. I can't stand what seems like forever to reply to a IM.

Are you logging in to multiple locations and responding '1' to the automated IM?

I am, but I am not responding 1. I want to be logged in on the phone and computer. I think you were onto something though, I set it to stay online 7 days, and the change sticks but it's almost as if it's not taking effect. Maybe I'll email support.

Probably a good idea. It's not an inherent limitation of the software, so something somewhere is probably bugged.
