iPhone 15 Pro Max Before I cancel . . . has anyone been able to connect to wired CarPlay?

I picked up my iPhone 15 PM on Friday and it was working perfectly on Carplay on Saturday.
I was using a USB-A to USB-C adapter from Amazon and the USB-C cable for my iPad.
On Sunday, the phone was charging, but there was no connection for Carplay. I briefly saw a message on the Ford Sync display that there may be fault with the cable. I didn't try to connect the iPhone in the car today.
I will order a cable to see if that fixes the connection issues for Carplay.

The Anker usb-a to usb-c has worked perfectly for the past few days with no CarPlay issues.

Thanks - I have wireless CarPlay in my car, but I ordered a couple to throw in my travel bag for rental cars.

I had no problems at all with an adapter I bought on Amazon connecting to CarPlay on my 22 Lexus.

I purchased an adapter and am having problems with it constantly losing connection. Earlier I purchased a cable instead and am waiting for it to be delivered from Amazon, hope it works.

I'd definitely go with the cable - fewer connection points.

I have had no issues with multiple USB A -> C cables on my Volvo. Has not given me a single issue and works flawlessly. I bought the 3ft version of https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BPCBP15P and am keeping one in my car and one in my backpack.

I'm having the exact same problem. I think it's a bad cable.
