Here are some quick pictures. Not sure I'm 100% in love with it but I'm going to give it some time.

Zea Mays, forgive me for asking but I have to assume that since you went silent you must have been disappointed and you have returned this keyboard. Am I right in this assumption. Mine will arrive in a few days.

No! Not at all. I haven't had time to put it through all the tests I'd like before I decide.

One big disappointment is the lack of magnets to hold it shut and turn the iPad off. The build quality is SO nice, that I might just keep it, but I need to really play with it first to decide.

I don't think you'll be disappointed in the quality at all.

Thank you, with previous cases I could live with pressing a button to turn it off. I keep the iPad and keyboard in a sleeve that holds it together. The most important things to me are as you say, build quality and that it not damage the iPad.

The best keyboard yet.

I just got my Belkin Thin Type. This is the best yet. I have the Belkin Ultimate and the Logitech Ultrathin. I wish I could have started with this one, it would have saved me money. It arrived in perfect condition which is rare in my resent experience. The build quality is fantastic. Even though it is lite it feels very solid, like a solid slab of aluminum. The hinge is aluminum and fits in a slot when not being used. It is rubber padded in all the right places. There is very, very little plastic. It looks and feels like it's made by Apple. I am charging it so I haven't yet paired it. If a problem comes up I'll post it.

I got it from B&H Photo. Almost to celebrate it's arrival I see, just today, it's available at the Belkin site.
