Best Android apps

I am really liking this app called Wakeup Touch Nexus. One of the first proximity sensor to wakeup screen apps that actually works for me. I don't see any difference in impacting battery life.

Nomore need for double tap to wake or volume button to wake.

I really, really hate the phone/dialer/contacts app on my lg l90. It's on kitkat.

I've tried a couple replacements that I didn't love (contacts and dialer + and exdialer), so now I'm looking for a nice looking, clean, combo dialer/contacts app that won't take over SMS tasks. I'd prefer free. Any advice?
