Actually, that’s for the price for the space black link band, the regular stainless link band is $350. But when you want to pay for something of high-quality, ingenuity with the removable links and overall seamless design, I can attest that the link band is completely worth the price tag. Anyone that actually owns and appreciates the link band will easily back up my statement.
I do Realize that’s a high price tag for a smart watch band, but there is *nothing* else like it on the market.
Get this one.$449. Ummm... wow.
Same for me. I was reluctant to get the silicon sport band because it just looked cheap. So I waited and got the loop. Very happy I did. So comfortable and doesn't pull out any arm hair. lolThe Apple sport loop band is so comfortable I forget I'm wearing the watch.
Here's what I have on order. Black hardware. These are not standard, AW mall watch fare; these are the real McCoy's: real straps used for real mechanical watches. No mall-store brand allowed: no Fossil, Shinola, Movado.
For example, the Erikca's Original were created for the French Marine Nationals for their Doxa's. Jacque Cousteau and his team wore Doxa's, and if they were around today would use their Doxa's to crack open AW's like they did pecans . Jack's leather is about as good as it gets. Ericka's Nato style does not go under the back of the AW. Both of these brands are custom made to your size, and cost less than $100 bucks.
No one who wears real mechanical dive or pilot watches, i.e. watches actually used by real divers, pilots, etc, would be caught dead in a Hermes strap.
