From Apples site describing what happens when the computer goes to sleep...
# Apple-supplied hard disks spin down
# Third-party hard disks may spin down
http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=25801
How do I know what third party drives may not spin down on sleep? Or can I assume that all newer drives will work as they should when the machine is put to sleep?
