Nor is OSX flawless.

I have to admit, I agree with the guy that said it is better than Leopard as I thin it is kind of but it is not better than Snow Leopard ;)

Don't take it to personally OP.

I'm getting tired of Mac Fanboys getting all butthurt from Windows fanboys and vice-versa from simple comments.

I hope Windows surpasses Mac OS X in the hope that Mac OS X than has to try and surpass Windows. Competition is good.

Well some of us are sick and tired of this competition comment people keep bringing up nowadays, the Palm Pre hacks into Itunes and we should be thankful all in the name of competition.

I'll respect your opinion when you learn what a period or comma is.

What about those of using using both? I've got Win7 on a netbook, OSX on my MB, and XP64 on my Desktop.

Am I 2/3rds troglodyte?

No, just a healthy, tech-interested person I would say though most on MR would probably classify you as anti-mac... ;)

Please elaborate.

Hard Mode: Without going on about the hours I'm not spending with antivirus and defragmenting my hard drive on Windows.

i hate file sharing with windows/os x - fail at me being a fanboy - i run XP64 at work and XP for a few dedicated game servers

Shucks I was hoping to a nice discussion of Finder vs. Explorer under Windows 7. I'd even allow graphic candy too.

SMB still does feel like a disaster waiting to happen under OS X. I remember waiting for months with my users hoping Leopard would fix things.

no, you just have no sense of productivity.

Elaborate. I achieve all I could want to using my XP64 workstation (3ghz Quad Core, 8Gb Ram - 1/4 the price of a Mac Pro) with 3ds and Vray.

Indeed - with the money saved by NOT having a Mac workstation, I can invest in a small renderfarm (something I'm doing later this year) which will increase my productivity further.

Please elaborate how a mac workstation would improve on that, given that no prospect of a render farm, and no 3ds max / vray would conspire to reduce my productivity to near zero.

(and I've never had any file sharing networking problems between platforms)

I'm writing an EMO song about the experience...

hated by Best Buy
pain my only companion
as the tears drip down

pools of black sunshine
suffocate the inner soul
love never arrives

I would like it... if I was capable of liking anything :p
