My wife is an analyst for one of the largest comp in NEW YORK....BB is one of there clients and she stated they were told BB only going to have around 15 per store.

I talked with a local BB here is Columbus Ohio and they said the same thing. Only 15 or 5 of each model. They are handing out vouchers to the first 15 in the morning and already have people camping out.

Round Rock Texas BB
Said they do not know how many they have.
But they only have the 16GB model.

The Ridgedale BestBuy has "about 15ish." I called to check the return policy (I was going to buy one to tide me over until 3G) but I feel like that would be a slimy and grimy thing to do, so I'm not going to get one for that reason. I'm just fine waiting, I'll be able to look at other people getting them, and really play with it and get a feel before I get it. Plus, 3G + GPS rocks!

It's interesting the way they are releasing this, and theres a good reason most stores dont know the exact inventory.

I work at a store in Minnesota, and they released the list of how many ipads each store will get. Were supposed to get 30 of each model, but tonight we only got 25 total (5 16gb, 15 32gb, and 5 64gb). Apparently, that is all we will have for launch. A UPS truck is supposed to arrive sometime tomorrow with the rest of our stock, but no one knows what time. Its going to be very interesting to see what happens. All i can say is that if youre expecting to get one tomorrow, you better be there early!

And whoever said that Little Rock is getting 100 is wrong. The most that ANY store in the company will receive is 30 of each.
