As an update for anyone who ordered using BB....I ordered my S4 44mm SS on October 4th. Just got this shipping notification around 1am this morning, overnight shipping, should be here tomorrow.

I thought it was Sept 24, but it was Sept 29. The Best Buy site is saying it’ll cancel my order if they’re not able to ship by Nov 29 (next Thursday).


I called Best Buy customer support and they told me there shouldn’t be a delay for the watch I ordered (Space Grey/Stainless Steel/44mm), and then put me on hold to try contacting my local Best Buy, but then came back and said he wasn’t able to reach anyone, and gave me their number. I called and got someone who did confirm that all models except the one I ordered are in stock. He said that my model is showing TBD. I’m also still seeing a delay on the Apple Web Site and on AT&T’s Web Site, all showing the shipping times as being early to mid-December. I’m just hoping it DOES actually ship today or next week before the 29th, because then I’m stuck ordering it again and waiting even longer..
 
Hi - Did your watch ever ship? I’m in a similar dilemma for the gold 44mm Milanese but have a little longer until they cancel the order. If that happens I will completely LOSE it. Super annoying!!

When I check my Order right now on the Best Buy Website, I'm still seeing the "We're sorry, we're working on getting it to you soon. If we can't ship it by Thu, November 29, we'll let you know and cancel the order." Message. I called Best Buy Customer Support again yesterday, was transferred 3-4 times, and someone finally told me that they're seeing my order as being "picked", like they're starting to package it up to ship to me. She told me it looks like I should get it this week... But, yeah.. I'm in the same boat. If you try ordering the SAME watch now on their site, it says that it can ship and be delivered by Nov 30, ONE DAY after they're saying they'll cancel my order. Truly a Comedic situation. Not.
 
Update: I talked to BestBuy support on Wednesday, and the woman I spoke with assured me that my order was indeed showing as “being shipped” on their end, and said that I should “most definitely receive it this week, maybe by Friday”. Yesterday evening I called again because it was the day it said the order would be canceled (Nov29) and the order online was still listed saying they’d cancel the order if they can’t ship it by the 29th. I was THEN assured that my order was being “picked”... I’m like, ok, which is it. They said it should be here by Friday. Today’s Friday and I called AGAIN this afternoon and the person I talked to said that my order is “waiting to be picked up by the carrier”. I asked him to clarify what that actually meant, like, is it at a Best Buy and FedEx is picking it up and delivering it to my house? Today? Well, it’s shortly after 8PM CST and I got nothin’. I’ve got accounts setup with FedEx & UPS, and of something gets shipped to my house, my iOS app dings me with a notification. The Best Buy iOS app and the desktop website (tried in different browsers even) both say the same thing. This is so frustrating. If anybody actually knew what was going on and could explain it, I wouldn’t mind waiting another week or two. Maybe.

She explained that the item is already ready to go, but AT&T is somehow dropping the ball on their end when activating the devices Phone Number or somehow linking it to my AT&T Account. Then she said she'd send me a $100 Best Buy gift card. Which is cool, I guess. I'd rather have the watch, though.

Best Buy has really dropped the ball for me too, promised me they would get my order shipped and I would receive an email letting me know only to not hear a word. Had your order in progress changed to preparing or has it stayed as in progress? I’m wondering if my watch is having the same issue...

My Order is still showing that they'll Cancel it if it can't be shipped out by November 29th.....
And to clarify, Best Buy is blaming AT&T here. They're saying AT&T needs to somehow activate the Watch or link it to my plan?
 
I went through that last time with Best Buy with the series 3 and they had to process 2 orders since I had to do it (activate) in store, and they couldn’t provide any logical explanation as to why. It is really Best Buy for not being able to navigate the system, and I wouldn’t have ordered through them if at&t had the gold Milanese listed online. Let’s hope they manage to give us our watches before Christmas.

ATT screwed me - I ordered on the Sept 14th the SS 40 MM. Mid November I got a call from Best Buy regarding my order. I had the notice that on my order that said if they couldn't fulfill by Nov 27th it would be cancelled. When I called they said they had my watch but I needed to give them my security info b/c ATT had assigned my watch phone number to someone else b/c it had been so long. I gave them the info and then I find out ATT wouldn't fill it because of some crap on their end. I had ordered the new iPad Pro and apparently I was at my max for lines. Best Buy had to cancel the order. I was told if I out my order in again within 2 days I should still get it in a week. I paid off one of my NEXT lines and put the order back in (you have to wait 1 day to be eligible). It took 2 weeks to get my watch. It took ATT one week to do their stuff. It arrived via FedEX but I did get an email from Best Buy telling me it was shipping. Good luck!
 
Got an Email saying my Order was canceled. Called Best Buy support again and they only could confirm and tell me to order again. So I Did. And it's saying it should be here Thursday Dec 6. I'll let you know if and when that actually happens...

Just got an Email saying my Watch Shipped. I'd be Really Angry right now if it wasn't for the fact that I'll get my Watch today or tomorrow...
 
Watch was delivered Friday around 1PM CST. Working great. I’ll end up forgetting about this whole ordeal at some point, but for real. BestBuy was a joke the entire time. I’ve had better phone customer support from Comcast.
 
BB is a big disapointing this time me and my wife has the AW 3 I bought online for my wife the AW4 on 12/24/2018 with in store pickup on 12/27/2018, had also the option of ship to home 12/28/2018.
last night got an e-mail that delivery delay if we can't get it for you til 1/26/2019 we will cancel your order ,just toilet you know my BB credit card was charged.
that sucks for sure next time I will buy it at the Apple store, I mite do it any now.
