Just pitched in to say that SwipeShiftCaret seems better than Swipeselection since i too was facing issue similar to another user here, the cursor would jump when fast typing.
I uninstalled swipeselection and installed SwipeShiftCaret in which we can move cursor by sifting the finger on the actual text rather than the keyboard and this eliminated the cursor jumping problem.
Happy with this tweak.

I wouldn't have posted if I hadn't done an extensive amount of searching. I just wanted to know if anyone knew whether it was pulled from Cydia? Maybe they it was buggy? Have people had success with the tweak?

Corrupted pref file I believe causing issues. Hopefully back up soon.

Thanks for the tip. I had the same issue with SwipeSelection and just installed SwipeShiftCaret. Will try this out for a few days and see if I like it better. One thing I can I don't like already is that the whole screen moves up and down a bit when I move the cursor... But that might just take some getting used to.

Has anyone tried the new tweak PowerMusic MiniPlayer ?
It adds a small music icon on lockscreen besides the time and date. I did install it but that sent my phone in infinite respring loop so i had to boot the phone in safe mode to remove the tweak.
iPhone 4S iOS 5.1.1

Anyone knows if it makes any sense to install respringcachefix on iOS 5.1.1 ?
Does it clean the respring junk in this iOS version as well ?

I've tried TypoPhone and another haptic keyboard tweak but neither felt good to type with. I just bought HapticPro and it's amazing! Highly customisable and feels great to type with. If you're coming from an Android device you might enjoy this :D

A cool useful tweak for music lovers is 'AutoLSMusicControls' - free in Cydia, it shows music controls on the lockscreen permanenetly when music is playing, useful for in-car stuff :)

Another good tweak is called FastForward, free in Cydia, its great for students like myself, or anyone who want to watch videos at a faster than 1x normal speed, you can select/set the speed you want, works well with iTunes University , Youtube, etc

Also, recently bought 'LivelyIcons' - you can animate icons when launching apps and the author is giving 50% of the money to cancer research so win-win for a good cause

The other tweak I bought this week was 'Remote Messages 2' - its actually on sale for $2.50 I think right now, basically us Windows users can use any browser to send/receive txts (normal and also iMessage)

Last free tweak has to do with Photography, its called 'Photo Organizer' - it modifies the Photo.app in iOS so you can select photos / videos easily, reorganize, etc.

Yeah, that's a nice little tweak. Unfortunately, I had to uninstall it after it caused my phone to crash and reboot into safe mode last night while I was sleeping. Perhaps its just conflicting with another tweak of mine, but not sure yet...

And what about Offlinemaps that lets you Download maps for Google maps for using it Offline just like you can do on Android?

I keep trying to install icleaner and it ends up saying error with some Archive and it doesnt let me install it. What could it be?

Anyone know an alternative to PushTone so I can change notification sounds for third-party apps? It's not compatible with iOS 6 (or iPhone 5?) apparently. A free one, if possible! I could go into iExplorer but just wondering if there's an tweak.

Is there a tweak that will automatically organize your apps for you? I'd like to condense all my apps into same categories.

Hey all. I haven't jailbroken my devices in a very long time as I hate the weird issues jailbreaking inevitably causes, but I feel somewhat forced to jailbreak now for f.lux. Because of this, I'm looking for a few other tweaks:

- change default maps app to Google Maps
- change default browser to Chrome
- change default mail client to Gmail
- enable the better rendering engine that Safari uses in Chrome

Can someone point me in the right direction to do this? I'm not interested in testing and troubleshooting wonky JB apps on my own... I just need to know whatever the best/most used/most trusted apps are that do those specific things.

Thanks!

Thanks!

1) Mapsopener (free)
2) Open in Chrome (free)
3) Not sure
4) Nitrous (paid tweak, makes javascript web-kit apps like Chrome, facebook, etc. faster, def. recommend)

Thanks for the list, thadoggfather. I just installed SwipeShiftCaret from your recommendation, and it is excellent. Your testament also convinced me that AdBlocker is worth purchasing. I had not heard of Respringcachefix before, but I’ve added it too.

Here is my full list. I have made bold the tweaks I think you’ll be interested in:

I got so many cool ones from your list!! Thank you!

I like to use Jukebox for this. It puts music controls on the NC and on the LS (if you are using LI or some such program).

I like Barrel, but it's graphically glitchy when going between pages every once in a while.

I think it needs an iOS 6 update or something.

If it hasnt already been answered, enable the folder fix in barrel, it removes all those glitches!

How did you get Ncsettings on your lockscreen?

Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2

Springtomize 2 has an option for the NC on the LS or Bulletin does the same. Just get Springtomize 2 out of both of those as Springtomize 2 has way more stuff than just the NC on the LS tweak.
