Update description:

This latest version of LED Machines lets you see exactly what the weather outside is doing - day or night, rain or shine - without opening the curtains! An advanced algorithm creates real time animated clouds with mass, density and varying speeds, shapes and direction according to wind intensity conforming to Beaufort scale. Watch the sun or moon travel across the sky of your screen! For those stormy conditions see thunder and lightening flash across the sky.

As requested, the alarm has been simplified and the graphics and functions vastly improved. A multiple alarm functionality has been added with new and exciting sounds like animals and mechanic effects. You can also choose a song from your library. The alarms are active even when the app is not running and the phone is on stand by. If the phone is on when a build in alarm rings, you can deactivate it by clapping your hands and you can also turn on the LED, on regular or strobe mode while the alarm is ringing.

Redesign of the analogue clock with better graphics. fully customisable colour for the clock face. Advanced snooze control: When a snooze is set, the snooze indicator appears on the clock indicating you when the snooze will ring. You can easily change the snooze time length by just taping and rotate the snooze indicator on the minute you need. You can also change the default snooze time length for all the alarms from the apps settings.

Improved compass mechanics for smoother animation and better accuracy. Redesign of the Compass view.*

Full redesign of the interface.. Customised backgrounds with smooth animated 3D feeling on view change. You can choose between 6 super cool original backgrounds, or you can select a photo from your photo library. User selectable button graphics for the torch. Smooth animations and sound effects added. Bigger and crisper analogue displays for the strobe and clap mode.

Added three different speeds in morse mode. Improved visual feedback to key presses.

Added screen lock functionality on torch mode.

When you place your phone with the screen facing down, the screen will go automatically off. No more unwanted battery consumption while the phone listens for claps.

More energy efficient.

Home screen icon redesigned.

Has anyone found a flashlight application that allows the flashlight to run in the background while doing other things on your iPhone?

Also has anyone found or heard of anything of the LED light being incremental. I know the EVO has an application that allows three different brightness settings when using the flashlight. I know the iPhone has 2 brightness settings for the camera, the dimmer before taking a picture then the actually flash itself.

Thanks
