Has anyone else tried Navigon after the iOS4 update? Since I updated, there is a problem with the panarama 3D mode. The display shows double street names as well as other issues. If I turn it off and just use 3D it returns to normal. I might try to uninstall the panorama feature then reinstall it. Otherwise, it might have to wait for an update.

Might be an iOS4 related bug, I've seen other reports of that by users on the forums. TomTom has it worse right now, likes to crash a lot when planning a route. :(

Here's hoping both apps get updated promptly.

Yup, TomTom crashes every time I try to plan a route. Was working flawlessly under 3.1.3.

Stability issues aside, TomTom is the only GPS Nav app for iPhone I have tried and for what I got it to do it works perfectly. I mainly wanted off-line maps (so I could route when out of cell range and when roaming in the US and not incur ridiculous roaming fees for data) and TBT Voice direction since the laws in BC state that you can't use a hand held device while driving, making Voice Direction a necessity.

The Text to Speech to tell you the name of the street to turn at is fantastic!

If you miss a turn or decide to deviate from the planned route for whatever reason, it recalculates quickly and continues to give you directions to get you back on track without a hiccup.

I was hesitant to pay $100 for this app when it came out, but with the current sale it's on for $50, and you can't go wrong with that especially with multitasking support coming for iPhone4 and 3GS users.
