If OP is looking to save money, the Mini is the good choice. Otherwise, I’d go with the 11” Pro. I forgot to mention the financial part of my opinion.

I have the iPad Pro 10.5 for home use as well and love it.

Yes good point but I think he only would have saved about $275 if he would have returned the iPad Pro 11” and decided to keep the Mini 5. That’s a pretty close gap.

I had a 12.9" 1st gen iPad Pro and recently traded it in for the the iPad Mini 5. I primarily use my iPad for YouTube/Netflix, Twitter, listening to music/podcasts, FaceTime, and some internet browsing. For these purposes - I LOVE IT! I have to admit the screen size on my old Pro was great, but it was literally painful to watch something on it for an extended period of time while lying down (I like to watch an episode of The Office in bed before going to sleep). I've noticed a little bit of a speed improvement, but again, for what I use my iPad for at home, it isn't that noticeable.

I don't see myself buying another iPad for at least a few years, but when the time comes, I could see myself opting for another 12.9" Pro with a keyboard to finally replace my nearly 10 year old MacBook Air.
