If you don't mind spending a little extra to get a handmade leather case check out Vaja cases. They are made in Argentina and the craftmanship is superb. They add very little bulk to the Touch and look really classy. There are several versions for the Touch. Take a look at their site. I have several of their cases for my Touch and Treos. Nothing like the look and smell of leather. http://www.vajacases.com.
Dependiing on the charger/cradle you use you can leave the Touch in the case. With the Apple charger you just need to remove the small adapter piece for the Touch and you can set it right in the cradle. I personally don't use cradles, just set it on my desk and plug in the cable. :D

Thank you :p i just ordered mine from them .... a ivolution ultra grip in Catarina Provential Blue :D

Finally a case with full access to the screen in leather AND with a decent belt clip

JUM JUM ........... cant wait until it arrives in Spain ....

Vaja cases

I am sure you will enjoy the case for many years. I suggest you still get a screen protector film of some sort. I bought the one from Apple. It has film for front and rear of the Touch. Very easy to apply. It was $15 here in Arizona. Another place to get screen protectors is http://www.boxwave.com Even with the Vaja case, dirt and crap can get on the screen and scratch it. It's just that little extra protection. I know some people say they don't care if thing gets scratched but I spent good money for the Touch and want it to look great as well as perform great for as long as possible. I did not get a belt clip for my Touch case (personal choice) but I have one for my Treo phone, They are the best clips I've ever seen. The button on the case is sewn in behind the leather. Extremely strong setup. Vaja has excellent customer service if you need it. I had an issue with the time it took to get my Treo case. They said they were at fault and they compensated me accordingly. Expect about 3 to 4 weeks for delivery. It is well worth the wait.

I just got my limited edition Ultra Black Capsule Touch case from SwitchEasy.

I was amazed at all the goodies that came with it (headphone cable, dock connector cover, extra protective membranes, clear skin for the back, viewing stand, etc.) I especially like the Universal Dock insert, which allows you to use the case and still dock your iPod, which is one thing I really hate about cases in general.

You can check their cases out here.

I ordered it on a Monday and had it by the end of the week. Nice. I am very pleased with it. The only negative things I can think of are a lack of a belt clip, which isn't a dealbreaker for me, and the slight interference or whorls/ moire rings that occur with the membrane cover.

In all fairness I want to use it for a week or two before I am totally satisfied, but my initial reaction is that it's a very good case and good value for the $$, too.

Just got the same thing... hopefully all turns well!

I am interested in hearing what others think about theirs. As I mentioned previously, the only issue I have at this point is some moire distortion with the cover, and I got a note from them today about taking the shield out, dusting it with talcum powder, blowing it off, and reinstalling it.

Right now I'm going to put up with it and use it as-is.

Now I need to find a good car mount or cradle. Griffin has a really cool one that works out of the cigarette lighter on a stalk that looks like it might do the job....

For me, I have the incase cover (black), and a screen protector (front and back), it looks very good and protects the iPod all around while adding more grip.
