Most KB manufacturers place the Fn key down in the lower left, including Apple for their laptop line. I almost never use that key
I'm not sure why, I have a full size Keychron (Q6), and I love it. Awesome keys, I have some gateron browns, and a nice set of keycaps from drop.com. They have a FN key defined as well, but its on the lower right hand size. To be honest, in a full size keyboard, I never have used the FN key. Being on the right size, I don't think I even noticed it. I'm not trying to convince you to buy the keychron, but rather just point out, its on the right side.
One thing I'm liking with the keychron, is I have a set of 4 macro keys and using an app call Via, I can assign macros to those keys. I have them set to passwords I always need for my job and it makes life so much easier and faster. At one point I had to fix about 100 accounts for work and for each I needed to continually confirm with my password. Hitting that one key instead of typing saved me probably hours of work.
