Anyone know how to backup notes?

Hi everyone! Acquired a used Mac Mini Late 2012 Server that came with Mountain Lion, and not the original (supposedly pre-installed) OS X Server. Would anyone know how I could download an official OS X Server?

I can't remember what mountain lion was like, but pretty much everything runs on Mavericks, including the last version of FCStudio (also FCPX I think which I don't use).

I have the legacy version of FCP, and it runs on Sierra but it was already too crash-prone on Mountain Lion. I don't actively use it anymore, but still need access to all my old projects.

But the big issue for me is VectorWorks 2008, a CAD program that I used extensively before I retired. Would cost around $1500 to upgrade and I don't use it much anymore, but still need it from time to time. It won't run on anything past Mountain Lion. I also have a couple very expensive 3d modelling programs from that era that I still use from time to time.

So I just left Mountain Lion on the internal SSD, since that is the oldest version of MacOS that runs on the 2012 Mini and each update introduced new bugs in my legacy software.

Cool, so did you go with the external ssd and stick with Mojave?

I'm almost wondering if a clean install of Mojave would have helped. Certainly, you won't go back to a spinning drive after you've gone ssd though.
