I'm tired of my Note 4. It's too big and heavy. It's my first and last of phablet.

I need something powerful and smaller.

Right now all I can think of are:

- IPhone 6S + iWatch (not a fan of iOS and this combo would be too expensive)
- S6 (but has memory issues and small battery life)
- Nexus 5X (32GB model is too expensive here in Europe for what it offers: 500€)
- HTC A9 (small battery + I hate the look of the hardware button alongside the on screen buttons)
- LG G4 (maybe too big)

Don't like Sony phones. What other options are there? Which would you guys choose? I really prefer Android.

Thanks!

The Moto G is a good and very affordable option if you don't mind some mid-range specs like 720p display, Snapdragon 410.
The HTC One M9 is still a good option. Maybe even wait a few months and get the M10.

One Plus X at $249 looks amazing bang for buck. Snapdragon 801, 5" Amoled 1080p, 2500 mah battery, 3gb ram, 16gb storage with dual sim / micro SD card support

Bargain quite honestly. €249 Europe on sale 5th November (just hope it's not invite system)

Why 801 though? I just can't understand that decision. Are they just using all of the leftover chips from the OnePlus One?

Likely they got them cheap and the 801 is a fantastic chip compared to the likes of snapdragon 400 or 625 in mid range devices.

The 617 and 801 are about on par in terms of performance. And the 617 is built on a newer architecture, which means it's much less power hungry. If they had put the 617, they would have been able to get much more out of that 2525mAh battery.

Wow. That might be my next phone if battery and camera are up to my expectations.

Awesome price, specs and build quality! I'm really excited for this phone!!!! The size is just perfect!! :):)

Does it record 4K video and has 4G?

Yes to 4G / LTE - I don't know about 4K video

Snapdragon 801 though??? They could have used the 805, it has a very powerful GPU (more so than the 808), runs cool and isn't that far behind the 810 but should be much cheaper by now.

Yes. But I imagine the 801 is considerably cheaper. Even if it's only by $5-10 per device over a million devices that's a lot of difference to their already small bottom line.

I dont know.
I just watched mkbhd video of the one plus x and man, it even has a full hd display, amoled, and my iphone 6 has a worst display. This phone makes the iphone looks like a ripoff, and thats what it is.

Can definitely argue the iPhone is a rip off, but we'll see how good this one is. I'm afraid to have any faith in one plus.

Comes only with 16GB of on-board storage right? No 64GB model?

So so excited. It has a very clean interface/skin, and I'm sure it's gonna have an awesome developer community over at XDA with lots of roms and tweaks.

I have the Samsung S6 and like it a lot. No memory issues at all. Honestly could not see myself go back to an iPhone. The screens on the S6 and note 5 are so awesome.

Guys, need advice ASAP.

S6 = 459€ new 32GB

Or

G4 second hand like new = 350€

Which will you guys pick? I prefer a smaller device, but the G4 isn't that huge anyway, plus it has better battery life, right? Is it much better than the S6 battery life?

I've never used a G4 so I can't say but if you want to ever use Samsung Pay, I'd go for the S6.
That and the screen alone makes the S6 a worthwhile purchase in my opinion.

Being honest the G4 was the only device I haven't had desire to jump onboard with this year - simply because of the G4 LG android skin.

The S6's screen size vs resolution does it no favors, just more battery life drain but otherwise it's a pretty nice phone. Personally I think having a fingerprint reader is a nice feature to have though I don't know how fast the one on the S6 is.

At that price I'd probably go for the G4 though. Having handled it a few times in a store it felt quite decent and for a big device it didn't feel all that uncomfortable either.
