I did and I stumbled across www.naia.be. They put all the energy the server uses, and more, back on the grid with energy from sustainable sources like wind and solar.
This means that your server is on the national grid in a fast data centre, but the grid is being supplied with renewable energy. So if EVERYONE used this approach, the whole electricity grid would run from renewable energy sources.
I make a few websites here and there, so I got a reseller package and offer it to all of my clients, and it's nice to know the websites are more sustainable than most and a little better for the environment.
They do the cpanel/linux thing, and the team is really switched on.
