wow

I'm a recent convert to Mac from PC, and overall I'm in love with my MB Air. But the fact that I only have one USB port means I really have a need for a BT remote with laser. In fact the main reason I went with the air is so I could easily tote it from presentation to presentation. I never even looked into this issue before buying my computer because I assumed there would be tons of good options. I just can't believe that this is even a problem. My brother is a programmer/ hardware developer, so maybe he could come up with something. Seems like a nice way for him to get rich! So maybe I'll be back in a year to hawk my product...

Other Interlink bluetooth remotes

I'm researching presentation remotes now for unrelated reasons. Interlink has several other Bluetooth remotes that work with Mac.

http://www.smklink.com/index.php?id=NzU3 is one, and there is another as well.

Sony's Bluetooth presentation remote does not mention Mac compatibility in its blurb, so is probably not worth pursuing until somebody else invests $99 and tries it out on a mac.

If you have an iPhone or iPod touch you can use the application called Rowmote and control your presentation from there.

Or just use Apple's own Keynote remote app. Assuming of course you're using Keynote to give the presentation.
