I bought one of the InCase 13" Neoprene Sleeves on Zappos. But I checked just now and they are out of stock.

It's great, though. Fits the 13" MBA perfectly. No zippers to scratch it. Once inside, I can toss the MBA in a backpack or briefcase or messenger bag without worrying if it has enough padding or will get scratched.

which color did u get from zappos? how is the fit since it was made for the old mba?

After using several different sleeves my fave is the one from waterfield designs. They offer both vertical and horizontal layouts, d rings for a strap, and their sleeve and piggy back combo is perfect for trips to the library, coffee shop, interoffice meetings, or working lunches.

While there are many good sleeves out there, the one thing i would recommend is getting a sleeve that fits the layout of your bag. You should be able to remove your laptop from your sleeve w/out having to take the sleeve out of your bag. It's not a big deal but a convenience you'll appreciate.

I tried finding the answer, what exactly is the difference between the classic and ultra?

Classic is the same as InvisibleShield, you need a solution to apply. Ultra doesn't require a solution, it's like a stick-on. I prefer the Classic since you aren't left with tons of air bubbles and stuff like that, and you can re-adjust it if you make a mistake in the application procedure.

P.S. InvisibleShield sucks. Wrapsol gives you a matte finish that's almost invisible. I'll post pics when I receive mine.

Are you sure the 11.6" Air will fit in the Ristretto for iPad?? Their site says the interior dimensions of the padded section are 10.9"x7.6"x1" and the 11" Air's dimensions are 11.8"x7.6"x0.7".

So it looks like the 11" Air is about an inch too long to fit. If you have the 11" can you take a photo of it in the Ristretto?

Thanks

It does fit in the padded section though the top flap doesn't completely fold down over it. It buckles as well cleanly though it isn't as snug as when an iPad is in it. If you put it in the section in front of the padded one, it fits fine so technically you could carry both the MBA and the iPad (though why would you).

For now I'm going to use it as is. Would be silly for me to get the non-iPad version for the "perfect fit". If I can remember to do so I'll post pics later.

Yes, wrapsol. My order is coming in the mail today. I have it on the back of my iPhone 4 and like it a lot. Matte texture. Should be very invisible. Wrapsol is the only company that I know of who makes non-glossy wraps.

Do u have a link and also photos of the phone with wrapsol

Perfect, I have their cases for my phone and love them. Not thrilled by the white stitching, but it's perfect. I have it on order as well, do you know what express shipping means?

Just ordered the inCase Sleeve for the 13" MacBook Air off eBay. Price was like half of that than on the inCase website where they are sold out.

Was that shipped from GB? If so, what's the delivery time look like? I can't find the incase sleeve in any stateside retailer.

Anyone try the beez sleeve? http://www.amazon.com/BE-EZ-LARobe-MacBook-Sleeve-Wasabi/dp/B0019GMLOW/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1289086456&sr=1-2

EDIT: I ordered the incase sleeve from the linked GB ebay vendor.

thanks

After a couple of weeks use, I really cannot complain for the price (£13.49 INC P&P). Yeah the flap has gotten a little looser from use, but not to the point where it causes any issues.

STM Jacket in small. It comes in black with green accents or brown with orange accents. Has a padded main compartment that fits the 13in perfectly and also has a zippered pocket to hold the power adapter and a non-zipped pocket (not sure if I'd really trust it) for your phone. It also has a pocket on the back that will work if you carry the bag horizontal with the included strap - otherwise there is a handle to carry it vertically.

Its small enough that I use it as my every day bag and when I need to carry more gear like my camera, external drives, etc... I just stick it into a regular messenger bag. Got it online for like $25 shipped.

Bought the STM Glove for MacBook & MacBook Pro 13'" Sleeve from the local Microcenter. It fits well even though it is for the thicker MBs. STM has a specific one for the MBA (glove Small Macbook Air). I like it because it has a lip that goes over the MBA so that the zipper doesn't scratch it.
