Here is my idiosyncratic list of the best Vision Pro Apps. Thought it might be helpful for new owners and a place for new great app discoveries to be posted. Games are not included. Hopefully someone else can compile a list of great games.
Many apps require you to download content in order to use them. Updated items are in bold.
The apps below take ~292 GB of space on my VP down from the >425 GB earlier. Didn't delete anything so not sure why.

3D movie conversion app using MakeMkv
1. Takes a long time - 2 hours or so - for the conversion on a very fast system
2. Resulting file is huge. A 34 GB Blu-Ray blows up to 156 GB
3. After putting the file in iCloud so I could access it could not get it to play
Possibly others will succeed where I failed so I am listing it here.
OWL3D - promising but expensive 2D-3D app. Haven't gotten it to work yet. In conversation with developers.
