Best voice recording app?

You can try our Voice recorder application called "iRec Voice Recorder". It was selected as a finalist in the best 99 cents app category at the 2008 Best App ever awards. It actually costs $1.99 because we add some new features to our app.
Get iProRecorder or iTalk. (Or both) I forget their prices but I have both. (There is a free version of iTalk that is ad supported and a premium version as well.)
I frequently use either of these for broadcast audio - mostly interviews - and I also have used them for VO auditions when I'm traveling. I have also used them for some quick field recording of SFX.
iProRecorder is made by Bias who offer some decent audio production apps for Mac. You can record high quality files and email them from the app.
iTalk has a companion app that you install on you Mac or PC that will allow you to access the audio recorded on your iPhone via WiFi to transfer.
Both apps are great, but remember the true quality of the recoding is limited by the iPhone mic - which is better than you might think.

I see that you love trism, I'll send you a promo code of my new game as soon as Apple put it on the App Store, so I can get some feedback on my puzzle game.
I've tried SpeakEasy, Quickvoice Recorder, Evernote, Take A Note, Recorder, and VR+, and Recorder seemed the best of them. The playback is loudest and clearest on Recorder, the others either required I very carefully listen to the playback or use headphones to hear them well.
I use iRec Voice Recorder almost every day and it works fine. It's really easy to use and I can easily download all my audio files when I get home using the wifi sync.

I use it to record my college lectures and use them as voice notes when I get home. Never had a problem with it.
does any one know if any voice record app can record our Conversation while we are taking on phone with somebody?

Recording a conversation while you are taking on the phone is not allowed by Apple SDK
, so you are not going to find any voice recorder available on the App Store with that feature.I hope this helps.

Not worth the 1.99.
This is a cumbersome program. In order to listen to your recording, you have to exit and re-enter the program. Deleting is also cumbersome. Check out the iPhone Recorder. There is an excellent video presentation that allows you to see what you will be getting.

iDicto
In my opinion you should try out iDicto, I believe it is only $.99 right now, I got it when I was free, and I think it's near perfect. The UI is very nice and it is simple to use.
You can do all the normal stuff, sync, change audio format, change audio quality and you can also e-mail the file as well.

I use Note2Self. I only use voice recording for quick reminders when I don't want to type and this app's use of the accelrometer is good. Launch the app then bring it up to your face like a phone call to turn recording on. When you put it back down, the recording stops.
