The DMPORT is some weird Sony thing and I don't think you can even find an adapter.

As J.Gallardo says there's a 3.5mm stereo audio in jack on the front.

how come i get this just now???

With these ports, none that I’m aware of ... are you sure it’s the only inputs possible ?

I have a 3000 $ sound system. Schiit Gungnir + Schiit Asgard + Audeze LCD-2 + Onkyo TX8255 AMP (older TX-8260) + Kef Q150. A reasonable headphone/speaker setup for the price which offers fantastic audio performance. And I don't have iTunes. I have a small FLAC lossless library and HDTracks, but 99% of the time I stream from Spotify premium which is MP3 320kbps which is "correct". I'd like a lossless streaming service but I always return to Spotify for its simplicity.

Investing in good audio is always a good investment depending on how you like to listen to music. It doesn't have to be incredibly expansive to get something very nice like I have. A good Schiit DAC like Bifrost, a good preamp like Saga+, a good power AMP like Vidar and a pair of bookshelf speakers and you are all set for at least 2 decades of good sound. Best in audio is that it doesn't depreciate over time and your investment last 10x the one of a computer.

You were quite correct. I found the mic/input 3.5mm jack on the front of the receiver. *slaps forehead*.

I've got her up and running now and only one small regret. The central speaker doesn't work. If you know a solution, I'd be mighty grateful.
