We certainly appreciate honest feedback as it helps us shape a better product. We know plenty of people will want a glass only Skin and we'll probably be adding that option in the near future. It might be helpful if I give some background on the initial design we came up with though. We figured the glass only protectors were going to be pretty common so we were looking to offer an alternative option that's possibly better in some ways.

The extended coverage obviously offers protection to a greater area of the watch but should also have the added benefit of extended life. The oleophobic coating on modern screens prevent oil and smudges from sticking to the glass but it also prevents adhesive screen protectors from strongly bonding to the glass. On flat screens it doesn't matter much but on screens with curved edges it's the most common point of failure in our experience.

Since the Skin extends to the metal body of the watch and adheres to a surface that provides a more positive bond it should outlast the equivalent Skin that covers just the glass.

You're also less likely to feel the edge of the Skin with your finger when you swipe on the screen. It's minor but not feeling the edge of the screen protector when you swipe maintains the original experience and doesn't remind you there's a screen protector on the device every time you touch it. Not rubbing your fingers on the edge of the film frequently will also extend the life too.

Finally, the current design is a little different than what's in the photo posted here. It more closely matches the shape of the screen. We often make running design changes to improve products so we'll try to get another photo up soon.

Thanks for the feedback and support. Hopefully that shines some light on the subject.

Thanks for the continued support!

If you need a beta tester for the 42mm, I live about 5 minutes from your office (just saying).

BSE-Michael installed one on my 42mm this morning, and its awesome. I've got no problem giving constructive feedback if I'm not happy with a product, or think it can be improved. This won't be the case with this skin.

I'm very happy with its fit, quality, and the way it covers a portion of the aluminum (or steel).

And it looks like the 42mm has gone live on the site...

Here you go. Obviously a side view. Screen is crystal clear. I can post more if you want, but not much different than the 38mm pics already up.

I received mine.
How are you guys managing to apply them without the screen getting bumps and blemishes? Do you have any tips please? , as whenever I try I end up with bumps and marks underneath.

I though wet application was supposed to prevent this?

Sorry to hear about the trouble. Our new video might be helpful. http://youtu.be/Tama2Jq-Dug

Mottling under the skin is sometimes an indication that the film was moved or shifted after it started to adhere. If you continue to have trouble be sure to contact our support team and we'll help further.

I'm on this as soon as I get my Watch. I've got your product on my iPhone 6+ and other devices. Keeps them looking pristine and very durable. The key is correct application and I've bookmarked that video.

I've got one BSE 10% coupon if someone needs one.
That's a whopping $0.60 discount just waiting to be had on an Apple Watch skin.

Must be used by 05/20.

I see on the pic there is a skin for the back installed, is this included in the four pack?

Haha. Yeah, it doesn't add up to much on the Apple Watch Skins alone but we're keeping the 25% off intro price valid through this Friday the 22nd too.
