I also have an Apple Watch and i'm seeing some horrific battery life. I'd love to bust this, but that would mean not wearing the watch. Dagnabbit.
I fixed my terrible watch battery life by turning off Background refresh. So far battery life is great today. 68% . Been wearing since 9am! A fix I think!

On my 6s plus. Much better compared to beta 1

Horrible for me since getting the public beta on Friday...but that's typical for me when I first download. Always seems to "fix itself" at some point after a few days.

I listened to music for less than an hour while doing yard work? A few minutes of chatting on Snapchat? Phone gets hot...

Have been hard restarting every once and a while to see if that helps. Nothing yet.

Right now I'm on iOS 10 public beta and was wondering for the users who are also on it (6+) how's the battery life. It sucks for me and I'm thinking of going back to iOS 9 and then redownloading iOS 10 beta

Pretty much the same as iOS 9 for me.. nothing to complain so far.

Oh, and there's already a thread for that. Please don't open new threads for nothing.

Where?? There is one for the 6+? So is battery life good?

I'm having almost no issues with public beta 1/developer beta 2. Battery life might be a LITTLE lower but I'm also using my phone more.

Performance wise, I haven't had any major systemic issues. I've only had two or three instances of the phone being unresponsive, and they all happened in Facebook. I'm guessing it's more of an unsupported app problem than anything.

Update: battery life for my Apple Watch has completely normalized, and iOS 10 battery life is only slightly worse than 9.3.3 beta.

Aside from typical beta issues, iOS 10 is amazing.

Did you turn off background refresh like someone else did?
Well to be honest, I never had BAR turned on. What fixed it for me was the dreaded reset and re-pair of the watch.

The only reason I didn't mind doing it was because it started acting sluggish anyway, so I figured a reset was in order. Now it's back to normal

battery life is horrible on my iPhone 6. it also gets really hot sometimes. this morning it dropped from 100 % to 76 % in less than an hour. all i did was check some twitter and listened to spotify on my way to work.

i am gonna try a restore now

Public Beta. My battery life is atrocious. I took my 6S off the charger at 6:30 this am fully charged. Have barely used the phone (6 hours standby). I'm at 39% battery with 38% of the battery used on photos background. 17% on mail background (my 3 mail accounts are all set to manual). YIKES
