iPhone [beta] Upscale is incredible to resize DPI

Not sure if its because I was playing around a lot on the homescreen yesterday testing out upscale resolutions but it felt like my battery usage was depleting faster than usual...or maybe its in my head... either way, there was definitely an increase in usage according to the ios battery log. I'll have to monitor it closely...as Upscale and iFile is the only tweak I've installed so far and I doubt its iFile.

I figured out my problem though! Rotate+ was causing Messages and Settings to act up, but now they're perfect after disabling it! Also, my camera started working on its own, no idea how, mabye it needed a restart.

I saw a drain while I was installing tweaks and what not but once I stopped using it as much it leveled itself back out.

I am having an issue with the dialer in the phone app at that same resolution. Could you send a snapshot of your phone app?

Mine looks the same. I don't think anyone with a custom or preset DPI is having their phone dialer and buttons render properly. Not thaaat big of a deal though, just smaller. Everything else seems to work fine though, so worth it to me.

That's what I thought too but some guy on another forum was telling me that his were rendering right. So I figured it was worth asking how it was for you.

I've switched to 850x1511 on my 6.

I don't quite understand what Rotate+ and forcegoodfit do? I already seem to get rotation in apps that support it, including the homescreen, messages, etc.

I stopped using rotate+. Increasing the DPI makes it natively think it's a 6+ so it rotates with me doing anything else. Having both rotate+ installed and increasing the DPI actually end up causing a lot of issues with the UI or rotating apps.

I have yet to find a contact info for developer. I ran into another glitch with the weather where I can't add another weather location, it may be from this tweak or another or combo there in, but the worst part is that I had more towns the other day.

Yeah I have to play around with everything to find out.
The black screen happens to some and not others. It's another glitch of upscale. There is some sort of file set that needs to be added or updated or something to the tweak.

I deleted the tweak guys, I felt it was draining my battery enough for me to notice plus like already mentioned, the little annoying glitches e.g weather animation, black screen app delay and phone dialer.
I will miss the landscape rotation but until these issues are rectified in an update or something, I'm removing it.

I figured out the culprit it was live weather icon. The tweak works great. In order to add another I had to remove tweak and the location and then add back the tweak. Until a fix comes I suppose that will be what I have to do but that's not too bad.

try 828 (x) x 1472 (y) It will fix the weather problem, but the dialer size will still be off.

This doesn't fix the weather animation issue. I've been using that setting and still have the weather animation not working.

There is another issue where if the resolution is set too high the weather is displayed incorrectly. It makes the middle of the screen the top with no way to scroll up.

Didn't notice the animation thing until someone mentioned it on the forums. The weather never animated for me on my 6, even with reduce motion off.

try 828 (x) x 1472 (y) It will fix the weather problem (but animations still don't work but app is still usable), but the dialer size will still be off.

Littlebrother just had a update on Cydia. Fixed the phone dialer and a few other optimizations. Still to small for my likings...

now thats awesome ! Just to have the horizontal "compose new messages" fixed and for the dialer and in phone call buttons to be fixed for phone app and FaceTime.
