Better to get iPhone from AT&T or Apple store?

I found a mall not too far away that has ATT & Apple & Best Buy stores so I'll check them out to see how busy they are. I'm getting it tomorrow after work - I can hardly wait!

I appreciate the Best Buy info too...hadn't heard that before.

It depends on distance and how you feel that day to be honest. I have an apple store 1 hour away, and I have an at%t store right around the corner. I bought my iPhone from the Apple store, and I bought my wife's iPhone from at&t store.

Just a word of advise here....it's better to get it at an Apple Store in case your first iphone turns out to be a lemon...Than the Apple store will give you a new phone from the original Iphone box....Or else you'll get one of those "refurbish" iphone from the white boxes...

Those white box phones are not refurbs. They are new phones used for replacements. You will not get a new in box replacement.

Wow, so you are one of those people who takes a perfectly beautiful iPhone and keeps it in an ugly case plus an ugly plastic "screen protector", huh?

I took the screen protector off about 2 seconds after I read that there was a possibility that it could damage the oleophobic coating, so no, I'm not "one of those people." However, I do use a case because I know that the second I go any length of time without one, I'll drop it or someone else will, and a pristine iPhone in a (relatively) minimalistic case is a damn sight more beautiful than a naked iPhone with a shattered screen or cracked housing. To me, peace of mind FAR outweighs any possible benefit to going naked (well, you know what I mean ).

I bought 3GS on ATT's online store because of 35% cashback back when I bought it in June. So it came out cheaper to buy through ATT.
