I sorta miss this phone after having it for nearly weeks. It was fast at downloading videos for me using TubeMate and had an SD slot. It was also nice-looking and compact. I love swiping it anywhere and the screen would wakeup. Battery life was better than my M7 at up to 6 hrs SOT doing random stuff. My M7 would die after 4 hrs just by downloading videos.

But I had to return it. I went to forums and tried to root it but there was nothing. Also the bezel-less screen can be an issue. The sensor was foolishly placed on the bottom right side and I always got a warning since it was natural to cover it up. It offered 1.5 GB RAM is bigger than Moto G but it crashes or freezes from time to time. Camera was also pretty bad. A photo would look ugly, lifeless, and dark if taken from a nice, sunny day

My experience with this phone has got me worried if I will like the S6 edge. Alot of people hate bezels but it is there to prevent accidental touches and cracking the screen from a drop. Getting a phablet like Nexus 6 or Note 4 seems alot more practical in the long run. Aquos and S6e is really for fashionistas and bragging rights for having a cool-looking phone. Trendy hipsters.

Personally I think having no bezels on the sharp is MUCH better than the curved edges of the S6. If the sharp had the same specs as the S6 I'd buy it over the S6 any day of the week. Unfortunately it doesn't have the best of specs and is limited to the worst carrier, which I still wonder how that happened.

Sorry to hear that it didn't work out for you. I'm experiencing the opposite. The more I use it, the more I appreciate it. Having a large screen in a (relatively speaking) small phone is very handy. Battery life is better than my iPhone 4 had, though not as good as my Nokia Lumia 520... nothing has come close to that.

As for accidentally covering up the sensor, I can't see how that is possible, but if you say that it happened to you then I'll accept it.

I also disgree with your characterization of the photos it takes.

But that's ok, we all have different perspectives... what might be fine for me may be a pixlated blurry mess to others.

You were doing well until you injected your own judgmental attitude into it.

I'm sorta glad I kept the Nokia Lumia 635 over the Sharp Aquos Crystal. Half price and better battery life. The Aquos battery wasn't bad. Maybe 5-6 hrs SOT. Except the 635 battery is easier to replace and over 8-9 hrs SOT.

I realized I am not a fan of bezel-less phones where the sensor is foolishly placed on the bottom and easier to cover up. The Aquos did look good, 0.5" bigger screen, had 3x more RAM, and camera was only slightly better but still awful. Sharp also had flash and selfie cam. Both phones can freeze up from time to time. Windows Phone isn't for me but battery life, half price, removable battery, decent external speaker, and easier ergonomics is what makes the Nokia trump the Sharp phone. Nokia is slightly less problematic the last few weeks. A joy to use for the louder sound and stamina esp if you stream or watch videos alot.
