Why is there a smaller screen-in-screen in the top left corner?

I really, really would like to know what it is. If you ever figure it out, tell it :)
It is interesting to see that it is not completly black, but has some bright spots in there..
But it would be even more weird if it would be moving... Maybe you should make a wallpaper with some grid so that you would notice when it is moving. i doubt that it helps, but maybe you could give it a try: http://www.jscreenfix.com/ at least it doesn't do anything bad. This just flashes your screen to see if the problem is some kind of stucked LCD or whatever. As you will have to turn in the computer anyway :) You might just push slightly on the LCD. And by slightly I mean really really soft to see if you can get any other colors out of it... But if you break it, it was not my fault ;)
