I understand ... but that was due to the skill impact on your abilities rather than being a loose & sloppy shooter like so many console ports. That is the distinction I'd make.

STALKER uses a complex ballistic model rather than RPG skills, but is essentially similar in that your ability to hit a target is the product of your personal shooter skills with such factors as:
- Weather effects
- Anomalies
- Quality of weapon (inherent accuracy)
- Condition of weapon (deterioration over time)
- Distance from target
 
oh, ok. I knew that, the scrolling is just... weird. not like UT03 or cod4. that may be party bc of the whole dealio they have going with the engine and ballistics stuff an I'm too ignorant to realize it. I just have a hard time getting I to the game bc you blead and become radiated and die so easily. and I just have rough aim.
